How often will I need to come?

Every patient visiting Tula is an individual and therefore so are the tailored treatment plans we provide. The frequency recommended is determined by the results of a thorough history and examination and can vary based on severity, duration of symptoms and your current state of health.

Initially, the number of treatments recommended can vary from 1-3 times per week for an acute complaint, however, this is short term and as improvements occur this frequency can be reduced, and at-home rehabilitative exercises can be prescribed to empower you to take control of your healing.

Many patients choose to continue with periodic Chiropractic care long-term as a proactive measure to keep their Spine, posture and nervous system in check. We aim to provide detailed treatment plans and recommendations, allowing you to make an informed decision on what works best for you.

How do I know if Chiropractic is suitable for me?

Chiropractic has been shown to be safe and effective for people of all ages. All techniques and treatments can be adapted to ensure optimal safety and results depending on the individual. We often treat babies from newborns, women throughout their pregnancies as well as people experiencing a variety of illnesses or physical limitations.

If you have questions on concerns please contact us to discuss these in more detail.

What should I wear for my appointment?

It's important that you feel relaxed and comfortable during your visits to Tula. Your treatments will take place fully dressed, however, if any clothing needs to be temporarily removed for the benefit of the examination this would only be requested following your consent. While most items of clothing are fine for treatment, we recommend wearing something loose and comfortable, that you can move in freely.

Is there parking at the clinic?

Whilst there is no parking available directly outside the clinic, almost all the residential roads surrounding have free parking (excluding the 2 hours between 10.30 am – 12.30 pm). During this time, we recommend using the NCP car park at St Albans Lombard's (5 min walk) or Verulamium car park (7 min walk). Please allow ample time to park and arrive before your appointment time.

For more detailed information about how to find us, please refer to the ‘Find us’ Section of the homepage.

Is the Clinic accessible?

Unfortunately, Tula Chiropractic is positioned upstairs above the Circuit Society gym and therefore does not have wheelchair access. If you have any questions about accessibility and your individual needs, please contact us to discuss.
